Don Cornelius the "Soul Train" Creator died. Feb 1st 2012, 20:34 Don Cornelius, the producer and television host who created the dance show "Soul Train," was found shot dead in his Los Angeles home early Wednesday morning the Los Angeles Police Department and the county coroner's office said that It appears to be suicide case. When officers arrived, they were let into the house finding Mr. Cornelius lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to the head that was self-inflicted,it was reported by Ed Winter the Los Angeles County assistant chief coroner, MR Cornelius was pronounced dead at 4:56 a.m.when he was taken to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center,, Mr. Winter said. "It was reported as a suicide, a self-inflicted wound," he said. "I have investigators at the hospital."
